Hello people, Dara here...

I decided to share a dev journal here and on our patreon page every week, and share a small devlog daily in our discord server. I’ve been working on some new stuff that will enhance the visual experience of animations on some quests, after fight scenes and dialogues. Now that Morte and I are full time working on this project, we’ve wanted to make some reworks on our previous scenes.

 Added:

-Added fixed aspect ratio for mobile devices.

-Reworked Depot scene

-Added new cinematic camera movements on “Beyond the Waves“ quest.

-Added “What a Mess” quest:

  -10+ Animations.

  -New particle effect, stars shining effect.

  -Collect and drop minigame

Fixed:

-Fixed some typos in the “Beyond the Waves” quest.

-Changed some old UI’s into new ones.

-Blue Moon quest was glitching and directing the player to lose screen even if they win. Fixed.

 Dont forget to talk to Donna after you win against valeria. That’s how you unlock the “Big Test” quest. And If you have an existing save file, we recommend deleting it in LocalLow/MorteDara (if you're playing on Android device InternalSharedStorage>Android>Data>com.MorteDara.RealofDominance) and starting a new game because there are a lot of changes.

 Being worked on:

 New quest “A Challenger in town”.

New battle prototype: We’re aware of the fact that the game’s combat system is boring and almost pointless. We wanted a combat mechanic that forces players to study and learn their enemy movements, attack patterns and develop a strategy to fight back, but it was a bad idea. We’ve been getting lots of feedback from our players and our friends about it and we decided to completely change the battle system while still having the turn based features. It took a lot of brainstorming and frustration, but in the end we decided to create a battle system similar to Swords and Sandals. Since it is a (g)old game me and Morte used to play a lot back in the days and it totally fits totally well into Realm of Dominance. On the other hand, we know how battles lack interaction with the enemy and erotic content, we are trying some ways to implement them inside the combat as well. 

New gym: Destor will be able to train his strength, agility, vitality and etc. in the gym. This will require Sandsworth energy only. So it is another challenge to manage your energy and days, it will be hard to fight, work and train in the same day. Stats will effect the way Destor wears armor, weapons and the damage as well
