Polishing the UI's, evening environment, shops and items


 Hello dear patrons! This week we have worked on several things. We have changed the combat selection screen and adjusted it so that it shows the main events on the top. We realized putting them all together and at the same size would confuse the players. So, you can see the main events on the top. Dara added the buffs and debuffs for the skills and they all work as intented at the moment.

    

 We have also added more features for the cheat screen. We use it to debug the game and test it. We have also changed how the saving in our game works. It doesn't automatically saves between scenes anymore. So, you have more control over your save file. I'll open a poll about how would you like to save the game. We need your opinions on this.

   

 Also, the shops work as intented. The images you see are still placeholders. We will fix the textures this week. We've added a feature that the shops show you the items according to your level. So that you won't get lost, as we have more than 100 items at the moment. Let's say your fame level is Rookie, the shops will show you Rookie level items, but you can always check and shop in other fame levels as well. You can switch the displayed level by the arrows display at the top.

  

You can see the item's attributes below the description. We've added icons to display the attributes.

    

 The tavern minigame UI also needed a change. We've updated it and made it consistent with our other UI elements. We've changed the place of the button to start your shift. Another change is that we have added notifications, warnings everywhere in the game. So, if you are trying to do something that you can't at the moment, or if the game will spend one of your currencies such as action points or gold, it will always warn you before.

    

 We want Sandsworth to look more dynamic. So we added another time of the day. This applies to all places in the game. Currently, we have noon, evening and night times in the game. We plan on adding events according to the time of the day so that the game will also be more dynamic. We continue on polishing and fixing the game left and right. Dara is working on the training system at the moment and making sure everything works as intented. I'm finishing up adding the animations to all of the characters.
