New Amy Quest and Dialogue Panel

Amy Quest "In Return of the Favor",  Version: 0.5.9.1

"Amy" the character we first introduced as a customer in tavern now appeared in the quest "In Return of the Favor". The quest is given by Zia the Inkeeper and last quest of her quest line so far. Zia want's to pay Destor back for his previous services. The quest is just rewarding and expanding the storyline between characters without any consequences. 


New Dialogue Panel

We made small changes to our dialogue panel, actually we added transparent background to our dialogue panel in the last update but we've made a few changes in it's layout in this one. Now it looks like it's from a visual-novel game because it completely covers the bottom of the screen, attracts less focus and the text over the panel is higher resolution, also with outlines. This will probably be the final looks of our dialogue panel.


Cumshots and cum-stains.

Added Cum-shot animations and stains on existing scenes and old scenes.

We wanted to use unity's particle system for the effect, I struggled a lot with it but in the end I ended up making it with animation system. Particle system offers an unpredictable and continuous effect, but I didn't like what I've come up with in the end. Animation is easier to use but required more trial and error until it looks realistic. Stains will remain on their body after cum happens. I wish we'd made them before but there is a lot of stuff missing in the game including a solid game loop.

It will be available with the new quest "In Return of the Favor", Morte completed the animations and dialogues, there are a few more polishes until this update will be available for our Patrons. Don't forget to give feedback and have a great day.

Fixed:

-Tavern: Unintentionally dropping trash while walking near the trash bin.

-Tavern: Time flowing during food/drink selection.

-Tavern: Destor walks while food/drink selection panel is on.

-Fixed a few bugs that cause dialogue panel to have different size in different scenes.


Progress on new Combat System - 5

Switched to Overlay character bars from world space ones.

 

I previously uploaded the former UI of that shows character health and stamina, they were on top of the character itself. Because the player focus was expected to be at the centre of the screen. But pop-ups were at the same spot, and they were kind of overlapping each other. Hit pop-ups, mood and buff/debuff pop-ups was appearing very close to character bars. Additionally, edges of the screen seemed empy to me, so I changed the layout again.

New character bars (can be seen at the very top of the two sides).

I also added avatars of characters.  Changed every single panel and bar images so that they would match with our main colors. UI was something we've received a lot of complaints, that's why we spend a little more time to decide. I can say the new Combat System is %75 done, when it is ready we will be able to add more enemies with less effort and present a better fighting experience. 


This new features are not included in the latest free build, They are included in the latest version 0.5.9.1.
