11.09.2022 Dev Journal and Announcement

In this update, we have focused on improving the immersion in our game. We have gotten some feedback on how our characters were poorly introduced in previous versions. Actually, we were quite aware of this problem, but we were so busy trying to implement new things. This is why we had to overlook some things. This update will give a good amount of immersion as we hope.

Cutscenes

We have created a cutscene for Valeria, The Golden Amazon. She will be introduced to the player now before you encounter her in the arena the first time.

We plan to add Livia’s cutscene and Gloria’s cutscene in the next update.

In this update:

-You can interact with Donna to get some clues and background information about your opponents.

-You can fight the new opponent (Gloria, The Huntress)

From now on, we will have split versions of RoD. Our supporters will experience the latest release and will have access to our discord channel.

Big plans

In the upcoming months. We plan to implement the mechanics that will make our game a fully functional rpg game.

We plan on adding a status screen where you can see your relationship, dominance and reputation.

Relationship: Relationship between you and other characters.

Dominance: How Destor feels about himself.

Reputation: How the city think about Destor.

This part will be explained with further devlogs as we decide on how we will implement it.
